7th Nepalgunj Marathon has started in Banke’s Nepalgunj

Banke: The seventh Nepalgunj Marathon has started. The marathon, which started in Banke’s Nepalgunj, was inaugurated by Youth and Sports Minister Maheshwar Gahatraj.The winner will receive Rs 100,000, the runner-up Rs 50,000 and the third place winner Rs 25,000.

Similarly, the winner of the half marathon (women’s) will get Rs 51,000, the runner-up will get Rs 25,000 and the third place will get Rs 15,000. The first place winner will get Rs 25,000, second place winner will get Rs 15,000, third place winner will get Rs 10,000 and women’s 5 km open side will get Rs 15,000, second place winner will get Rs 10,000 and third place winner will get Rs 7,000.

Similarly, at the school level, the first place winner will get Rs 10,000, the second place winner will get Rs 7,000 and the third place winner will get Rs 5,000. The first place winner will receive Rs 7,000, second place winner will receive Rs 5,000 and third place winner will receive Rs 3,000.

In the first edition of Nepalgunj Marathon, Homlal Shrestha of Nepal Army, Krishna Basnet of Army, Durga Budha of Jumla, Bhumiraj Rai of Nepal Police Club, Nawaraj Saud of Army and Gopichandra Parki of Nepal APF Club were the winners. Similarly, in the women’s half marathon, Kanchimaya Koju has won two editions.

In the fifth edition, Purnalakshmi Neupane of Sena and Pushpa Bhandari of APF were the winners.
