    KATHMANDU: Indian runner Milkha Singh has died. According to Indian media, he died while undergoing treatment for coronavirus infection. The 91-year-old died at Chandigarh Hospital. He was infected with corona on May 20.

    He was admitted to the hospital on June 3 and was kept in the ICU till June 13. Her subsequent health report was negative. However, he was admitted to the ICU due to health problems. He died while undergoing treatment.

    Five days ago, his wife also died due to corona. Singh has won many medals in the 200 meters and 400 meters. Singh was the first independent Indian to win a gold medal at the 1960 Commonwealth Games. He was also in the Indian Army. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over his death.
