England breaks their own record for highest ODI score against Netherlands
KATHMANDU: England has broken their own world record of the highest One Day International (ODI). England scores 498 runs against the Netherlands in the first ODI at VRA Cricket Ground.

Batting after losing the toss in the first match against the Netherlands, England lost four wickets in the stipulated 50 overs and scored 498 runs.
This is the largest total in ODI history. Earlier in 2018, England had scored 481 runs in the match against Australia.
Jose Butler scored 162 not out off 70 balls, the most by England. He hit 14 sixes and seven fours.
David Mullen scored 125, Philip Salt 122 and Lyme Livingstone 66 off 22 balls. On the bowling side, Netherlands captain Peter Siller took two wickets.
