Kathmandu: Nepal Cricket Association (NCA) and Dish Media Network Limited have signed an agreement for the production and broadcasting of domestic cricket competitions.
According to CAN, an agreement has been signed between Sudip Acharya, Managing Director of Dish Media Network and Roshan Kumar Singh, Treasurer of CAN. Recently, the domestic cricket tournament has been broadcast live by Action Home of Dish Home.
Under the agreement, four competitions, including the PM Cup and the Mayor’s Cup for men and women, have been broadcast live by Dish Home’s Exxon Sports Channel.
According to the agreement, all domestic competitions organized by CAN will now be broadcast live from Exxon Sports.
CAN treasurer Roshan Singh said that more than 10 million contracts have been signed for 15 competitions. “The agreement is over Rs 10 million.
An agreement has been reached to organize 15 events. In which we have done four events. Now we have to do 11 events, ‘he said,’ not so much time can be completed in a year. It may take up to 15 months. ‘
Treasurer Singh said that although the competition could not be held this year due to the Corona epidemic, the competition would be held continuously after the situation improved.
