Kathmandu: An emergency meeting of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) is scheduled to be held on Friday.
A meeting of the ANFA executive committee has been called for Friday to discuss the clean championship and the announcement of the head coach’s resignation on social media, according to ANFA. The meeting is scheduled for Friday at 4 pm.
The South Asian Football Federation (SAF) has sent a formal proposal to host the upcoming SAAF Championship Nepal. It has already been announced that ANFA will discuss the issue and send details.
Similarly, the head coach of the football team Abdullah Almutairi had posted on social network Facebook stating that he would resign due to ANFA senior vice president.
After that, he reached ANFA and met Chairman Karma Chhiring Sherpa, but he has not officially resigned. Vice-Chairman Nemwang, on the other hand, demanded that a high-level committee be formed to investigate the allegations.
