Ananta Tamang is the first Nepali player to play in the Indian Super League (ISL)

Kathmandu: Ananta Tamang has become the first Nepali player to play in the Indian Super League (ISL).

Ananta made his debut in the ISL for FC East Bengal in the first-choice match against Bengaluru.

No Nepali player has played ISL before. Anant was contracted to East Bengal on 11 February.
