ANFA fixes ticket prices for Martyrs’ Memorial ‘A’ Division League


KATHMANDU: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has fixed ticket prices for the Martyrs’ Memorial ‘A’ Division League Football Tournament.

One hundred rupees per person has been fixed for the general public and five hundred rupees for the VIPs. At a press conference organized by ANFA in Kathmandu on Friday, General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar informed that preparations for the competition have reached the final stage.

The inaugural game of the league will be played between the new entrants Satdobato Youth Club and Friends Club on November 19. General Secretary Tuladhar informed that the game would be played in flood light keeping in mind the presence of spectators. League director Sanjeev Mishra said that some games are being prepared in Pokhara if the club agrees collectively.

There will be 14 teams participating in the league. Tribhuvan Army Football Club, APF Club, Machhindra Club, Sankata Club, Nepal Police Club, Himalayan Sherpa Club, Satdobato Club, Manang Marsyangdi Club, Three Star Club, NRT Club, Friends Club, Castle Youth Club, Jawalakhel Youth Club and Bigred Boys Football. The club will compete in the competition. The last two teams will be relegated. The league winning team will receive Rs 7.5 million and the runner-up Rs 5 million.
