APF defeated Three Star Club 2-0 in the ‘A’ Division League

Kathmandu – Armed Police Force football club have defeated Three Star Club 2-0 in the match under Martyrs Memorial ‘A’ Division League today at Dasharath Stadium. Three games are being played.

Today’s match was very exciting and competitive. The first half of the game ended in a goalless draw. Mani Kumar Lama scored the first goal for APF in the 71st minute of the game. Armand Beaudoin scored the second goal for APF in the 81st minute to make it 2-0.

In the match to be held at Chyasal ground at 2.30 pm, there will be a match between Nepal Police Club and Church Boys United, a new entrant of ‘A’ Division. Similarly, APF and Three Star will be played at Dasharath Stadium at 2:30 PM and between Manang and Himalayan Sherpa at 5:30 PM.

FC Khumaltar, the new entrant in the league, has made a winning start. Khumaltar beat Friends Club by 1-0 in the opening match at Dasharath Stadium yesterday. The winner of the ‘A’ division league will get Rs 75 lakh along with the title, the second place team will get Rs 50 lakh and the third place team will get Rs 25 lakh.

After 182 matches between the 14 clubs participating in the league, the two teams at the bottom of the points table will be relegated to the ‘B’ division.
