Army wins 5th Jhapa Gold Cup title after defeating Jhapa-XI Club 2-1

Jhapa: Tribhuvan Army Club has won the Jhapa Gold Cup football title. In the final match played at Domlal Rajbanshi Stadium in Birtamod on Tuesday, Army defeated Jhap-11 Football Club by two goals to one.
Tek Bahadur Budhathoki and George Prince Karki scored in the army’s victory. Vimal Gharti Magar scored a goal for Jhapa. Army has won the Jhapa Gold Cup for the fourth time. Jhapa-11 was the runner-up for the fifth time.
The Army that won the title got Rs 1.255 crore and the runner-up Jhapa got Rs 605,000.
