IPL 2022: Bangalore beat top-ranked Gujarat by 8 wickets

KATHMANDU: Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL) Cricket.

In last night’s match in Mumbai, Bangalore defeated top ranked Gujarat by 8 wickets. With the win, Bangalore has maintained the possibility of reaching the play-offs.

Bangalore reached the target of 169 runs set by Gujarat by losing 2 wickets in 18 overs.

Bangalore’s Virat Kohli played a half-century innings of 73 runs. Rashid Khan of Gujarat took 2 wickets.

Earlier, batting first, Gujarat lost 5 wickets in 20 overs and scored 168 runs. Gujarat captain Hardik Pandey played an unbeaten 62-run half-century innings.

Josh Hazlewood of Bangalore took 2 wickets. Bangalore has risen to the fourth position by adding 16 points in 14 games.

Gujarat has reached the playoffs. Top-ranked Gujarat has 20 points from 14 games.
