Brazil beat Spain to win Olympic football gold medal

Kathmandu: Brazil has won the gold medal in the ongoing Olympic football in Japan. Brazil won the title by defeating Spain 2-1.

Mathews Cunha and Malcolm scored one goal each in Brazil’s victory. Mikel O’Reilly of Spain returned a goal. Brazil could not use the penalty in the 38th minute of the game.

But Brazil took the lead during the injury time of the first half. After Spain scored in the 61st minute, the scheduled 90-minute match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Malcolm scored in the 108th minute of extra time to give Brazil the gold medal.
