Delhi Capitals have risen to the top spot in Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket. Delhi beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 59 runs at the International Cricket Stadium in the UAE last night. Chasing the target of 197 runs set by Delhi, Bangalore lost 9 wickets in 20 overs and managed to score only 137 runs.
Batting first after losing the toss, Delhi lost 4 wickets in 20 overs and scored 196 runs. Delhi, which has risen to the top spot with the victory, has added eight points in five games.
Bangalore has added 6 points in 5 games. Marcus Stones remained unbeaten on 53 for Delhi. Similarly, Prithvi Shale added 42 runs while Rishab Pant scored 37 runs.
