Mumbai Indians have cleaned their sixth win in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Mumbai Indians defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 8 wickets in a match played at Abu Dhabi Cricket Ground on Friday.
Pat Cummins and Eoin Morgan were the last to take five wickets for 61 runs. They shared 87 runs for the sixth wicket. Jaskam Morgan scored 39 runs while Cummins played a half century innings. He scored 53 runs off 36 balls.
In which he hit five fours and two sixes.Subham Gill scored 21 runs for Kolkata, while Rahul Tripathi was dismissed for seven, Nitesh Rana for five and Dinesh Karthik for four. Similarly, Andre Russell contributed 12 runs. In bowling, Rahul Chahar took two wickets.
In reply, Mumbai completed the target losing two wickets in 16 overs. Captain Rohit Sharma scored 35 runs for Mumbai while Surya Kumar Yadav scored 10 runs and Quinton de Kock scored an unbeaten 78 runs. He hit nine fours and three sixes in 43 balls. Similarly, Hardik Pandey added 21 runs.
With this victory, Mumbai has 12 points. Even though Delhi has the same 12 points, it has dropped to the second position in terms of run rate.
