The Punjab-based franchise has a salary cap available of Rs 53.20 crore, with nine available slots which includes five overseas slots.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) are the least favorably placed going into the player auction, with a salary cap of Rs 10.75 crore. KKR has eight available slots with two of them being overseas slots. SRH on the other hand, have three slots available for player additions with one of them being an overseas slot.
RCB are followed by Rajasthan Royals (RR) who have a salary cap of Rs 34.85 crore. The Rajasthan based franchise has eight slots available with three of them being overseas slots.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are the next name on the list. The MS-Dhoni led side has a salary cap availability of Rs 22.90 crore. CSK has seven player slots available with one of them being an overseas slot.
Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC) are the two remaining teams with a better budget than KKR and SRH. While the Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai-based franchise enjoys a salary cap availability of Rs 15.35 crore, DCs have a sum of Rs 12.9018 crore in their kitty.
MI has seven available player slots with four of them being overseas slots. The Delhi-based franchise has six available slots with two of them being overseas slots.
