Eng vs Ind: England all out for 183 runs in the first Test against India

Kathmandu: England have been knocked out in the first Test against India. Batting first after winning the toss in Nottingham, England were all out for 183 runs.

England’s Dominic Sibley (C) loses his wicket to India’s Mohammed Shami for 18 on the first day of the first Test cricket match of the India Tour of England 2021 between England and India at the Trent Bridge cricket ground in Nottingham, Nottinghamsh.

For England, skipper Joe Root scored a half-century of 64, while Johnny Bairstow scored 29, Sam Karan and Jack Crawley 27 and Dum Sibley 18. Jaspreet Bumrah took 4 wickets to wrap England up cheaply. Similarly, Mohammad Shami took 3 wickets, Shardul Thakur took 2 wickets and Mohammad Siraj took 1 wicket.

At the end of the first day’s play, India scored 21 runs without losing a wicket. India are on a tour of England to play a five-Test series.
