Pokhara: Flied lights will be installed at the football stadium in Pokhara. Flied lights are being installed in the stadium of international standards for conducting night competitions.
The National Sports Council is to start the work by allocating Rs. 50 million this year. Although the work of the stadium started three years ago, now the construction has reached the final stage. The stadium, which is being constructed at a cost of Rs 1.28 billion, was initially not planned to have flood lights and score boards.
The lights are being kept in the stadium for international level football competitions. As a budget of Rs. 50 million has been allocated for the installation of lights, the work of flood light connection will start this year after inviting bids. Lights will be placed in all four corners of the stadium.
