France enters the quarter-finals of the Eurocup women’s football

Kathmandu: France has entered the quarterfinals of the Euro Cup Women’s Football Championship by defeating Belgium.

France beat Belgium 2-1 in Group D on Thursday night in Rotterham, England. Kadidiatu Diyani and Ambok Bathi scored 1-1 to help France win the game. Janice Cayman returned a goal for Belgium.

In another match of the same group on Thursday night, Italy drew 1-1 with Iceland. After Thursday night’s games, France added six points from two games to reach the quarterfinals as group winners.

Iceland has two points from the same game, while Belgium and Italy have one point each. The final matches of the group stage will be played in Euro Cup football from Friday.

Austria and Norway are in the Group A, will face against England and Northern Ireland today.
