Hetmyer Powers West Indies to Big Total Against Scotland in T20 World Cup
Kathmandu – Shimron Hetmyer played a brilliant innings to help the West Indies set a challenging target for Scotland in their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Group C match at Eden Gardens on Saturday.

The West Indies finished their 20 overs with a strong score of 182 for 5. As the second innings began, Scotland found themselves under immediate pressure, losing an early wicket in their pursuit of 183 runs for victory.
Hetmyer Leads the Charge
After being asked to bat first, the West Indies started steadily. Openers Brandon King and Shai Hope provided a solid foundation, putting on 54 runs for the first wicket. King looked comfortable, scoring 35 runs off 30 balls. However, the innings truly shifted gears when Shimron Hetmyer arrived at the crease.
