ICC U19 Cricket World Cup: Nepal is playing a decisive match against UAE today

Kathmandu: Nepal is playing against the home team United Arab Emirates today in the final match of the ICC Under-19 World Cup Asia Qualifiers.

The match will be started at 11:15 am Nepali time at Eden Gardens in Ajman.

Nepal has won all the opening four matches. UAE is also an unbeaten team in four matches. As there are 8 points in four matches, today’s match will be decisive to reach the World Cup.

Nepal defeated Singapore by 96 runs, Kuwait by 243 runs, Hong Kong by 9 wickets and Malaysia by 10 wickets.

The home team UAE defeated Malaysia by 7 wickets, Hong Kong by 163 runs, Singapore and Kuwait by 8 wickets each.

In the 2019 Asia Region Qualifier, Nepal was defeated by UAE by one run based on the Duckworth-Lewis method and did not get to play in two World Cups.

The winning team between Nepal and UAE will play in the Under-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka in 2024.
