Kathmandu: India have lost to the home team in the second ODI in Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa ground in Colombo yesterday.
Sri Lanka won the match against India by 32 runs With the win, Sri Lanka has taken a 1-0 lead in the 3-match series.
Earlier, the first match on last Friday ended in a draw. Chasing the target of 241 runs given by Sri Lanka in yesterday’s match, India got all out in 42 overs and scored only 208 runs.
Before that, the home team Sri Lanka, who won the toss and elected to bat first, scored 240 runs by losing 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
The third and final ODI between India and Sri Lanka will be played on Wednesday.
