Kathmandu: Italian midfielder Jorgenho has become one of the best players in Europeu.
He won the UEFA European Player of the Year award. Jजिrgenho, who has won the Champions League and Euro Cup, has won the European Championship, behind Chelsea teammate N Golo Conte and Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne.
The same women’s award was won by Alexia Putelas of Barcelona.
Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel also won the UEFA Men’s Coach Award. Luis Cortes also won the Women’s Coach of the Year award.
The UEFA Presidential Award was received by Dennis Medical Team and Denmark captain Simon Care.
The award was given in recognition of the work done by Dennis Medical Team and Care when midfielder Christian Erickson fell unconscious in the first game of the Euro Cup 2020 against Finland.
