Kathmandu: Italy has entered the final of Euro Cup football. Italy entered the final by defeating three-time champions Spain in the first semi-final match at Wembley, England this morning. Spain lost 4-2 on penalties.
After a 1-1 draw in the scheduled 90 minutes and extra time, the game went to a penalty shootout. Federico Chiesa scored in the 60th minute to give Italy the lead. However, Alvaro Morata scored in the 80th minute to give Spain a 1-1 draw. Italy could not maintain the initial lead.
Italy’s Andre Bellotti, Leonardo Bunichi, Federico and Jorgenho scored in the penalty shootout. Manuel Lokatelli could not score. Spain’s Moreno Gerrard and Thiago Alcantara scored. However, Daniel Olmo and Alvaro Morata failed to score.
With this victory, Italy has come close to the title. Italy will now play the winner of the match between England and Denmark for the title. The game between England and Denmark is taking place at Wembley tonight at 1:15 p.m.
