Jersey sponsor My Second Team hands out cash prizes to the national cricket team

Kathmandu: Nepal national cricket team’s jersey sponsor My Second Team has handed over cash prizes to the cricket team with other four players.

My Second Teacher handed over cash prizes to the winning Nepali team and four debutant players of the T20 Tri-Series last April. As an incentive and honor, the Nepali team was given a cash prize of Rs 500,000 and four debutant players were given a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.

In the series involving Nepal, Netherlands and Malaysia, Nepal defeated Netherlands in the final and won the title. Four players who made their debut in the series, Kushal Bhurtel, Asif Sheikh, Shahab Alam and Kamal Singh Airy, received Rs 1 lakh each.

The prize announced during the final of the competition was handed over late due to the injunction. In the final held at the TU International Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal defeated the Netherlands by a record 142 runs to win the title.

At the award ceremony, team captain Gyanendra Malla expressed happiness over Nepal’s excellent performance and claimed that Nepal’s performance would be unique and satisfactory in the days to come. Respecting in this way gives the player more motivation. With the result, such motivation motivates the young players even more.

Similarly, Sulabh Budhathoki, Founder Chairman of Innovate Tech, said that he was very proud to see Nepal’s excellent performance in the triangular series.
