Kathmandu: French Stricker Kylian Mbappe became Paris Saint-Germain’s outright record goal scorer to seal a 4-2 win over Nantes in the French Ligue 1 on last night.
Mbappé scored a goal in the second minute of injury time in the home ground at Parc de Prince and set the record for the highest scorer. He also confirmed PSG’s victory.
Lionel Messi and Danilo also scored one goal in PSG’s victory. Hadzam of Nantes scored an own goal. Ludovic Glass and Ignatius Gango scored one goal for Nantes.
Mbappe broke Edinson Cavani’s record of 200 goals. 24-year-old forward Mbappe is establishing himself as the new superstar of football.
Mbappe, who has played in the World Cup final twice, won the World Cup in 2018 and won the Golden Boot in 2022. He has also won the Nations League title in 2021 for France.
