Liverpool beat Rangers 7-1 thanks to Salah’s record hat-trick

Kathmandu: Liverpool scored six goals in the second half as they embarrassed Rangers at Ibrox with a 7-1 win in the Champions League.

Liverpool beat Rangers 7-1 in last night’s group-stage match. Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah completed a record hat trick.

In the 17th minute of the game, Scott Orfield scored to give the Rangers an early lead. But the Rangers, who could not score more goals, scored 7 goals.

While Salah completed the hat-trick, Roberto Firmino scored two goals and Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott scored one each.

Salah completed the hat trick in 6 minutes and 12 seconds and set the record for the fastest hat trick in the Champions League.

With the win, Liverpool is in second place in Group A with 9 points. In the next match of this group, Napoli entered the pre-quarterfinals by defeating Ajax 4-2.

Napoli is on top with 12 points from 4 games and the defeated Ajax is in third place with 3 points.
