Manang Marsyangdi Club to operate football academy in Pokhara

Kathmandu: A Division Club Manang Marsyangdi is going to run a football academy. According to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), Manang has signed a six-year agreement with Nepal Adarsh ​​Residential School to run an academy in Pokhara.

Record-breaking eight-time league winners Manang have become the seventh club overall to sign a deal to run the academy and the fourth non-departmental club. Earlier, Sankata Club, NRT and Satdobato Youth Club have signed agreements with various schools to run the academy.

A tripartite agreement was reached between Manang, ANFA and the school at a program held at Nepal Adarsh ​​Residential School on Tuesday. The agreement was signed by Manang Vice President Karma Chhiring Gurung, Adarsh ​​Residential School Principal Kamal Gurung and ANFA Vice President and Grassroots and Youth Coordinator Upendraman Singh.

According to the agreement, the academy will have a total of 14 players in the first year, 7/7 from clubs and schools. In the second year, there will be 14 players from the club and a total of 21 players.
