Messi has broken the record for most goals in international football by a South American player.

Messi broke Pel’s record by scoring a hat-trick in Argentina’s 3-0 win over Bolivia on Friday morning in the FIFA World Cup South American qualifiers. Messi has scored 79 goals for Argentina. Messi has scored two more goals than Pel.

The great football player Pelलेले had scored 77 goals in 92 games. The record was set in 1971. Half a century later, the current world football superstar Messi broke Pelलेको’s record.
