Kathmandu: The head coach of the Nepali national football team Abdullah Almutairi has said that he performed well in the second friendly match against India.
After losing the match 2-1 to India at Dasharath Stadium on Sunday, he told a press conference that he was happy with the performance of the Nepali team when he forgot the result. “We played very well today. I am happy to forget the result, ”he said.
Head coach Almutairi said that Nepal could not finish even though they had a chance to score.
“We have improved. I am happy as a coach. According to the strategy of the opposition, we played in our field in the first half. “We played openly in the second half,” he said.
