ICC WCL-2: Nepal defeated UAE by 42 runs

Kathmandu – Nepal has defeated UAE by 42 runs in the tri-nation ODI series under ICC World Cup Cricket League-2.

Following the target of 230 runs given by Nepal, UAE managed to score only runs by getting all out for 187 runs in 45 overs.

Earlier, Nepal won the toss and batted at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. While scoring 68 runs and losing 5 wickets, the middle-order batsmen played excellent batting.

Bhim Sarki scored the highest 70 runs for Nepal. Similarly, Arif Sheikh scored 43 runs, Kushal Malla scored 32 runs and Sandeep Lamichhane scored 27 runs. On the bowling side, Junaid Siddiqui took 3 wickets and Rehan Mustafa and Aryan Larka took 2 wickets each.

With this victory, Nepal has maintained the possibility of playing the World Cup qualifiers.
