Nepal improved three places in the FIFA rankings

Kathmandu: The Nepali football team has improved three places in the FIFA rankings. According to the schedule made public by FIFA on Thursday, Nepal has risen from 171st place to 168th place.

Nepal’s ranking has improved based on their performance in the World Cup qualifiers and Asia Cup qualifiers.

Nepal ranks third in South Asian countries after India and Maldives. Belgium tops the world rankings, followed by Brazil.

France is third, England is fourth and Italy is fifth. Argentina is sixth, Spain seventh, Portugal eighth, Mexico ninth and the United States tenth.
