Kathmandu: In the first match of the tri-nation T20 series, Nepal is batting first against Papua New Guinea (PNG). PNG won the toss and elected to bowl at the TU ground in Kirtipur. Nepal scored 163 runs for the loss of 7 wickets
Earlier, five players have changed in the Nepali team that played ODI series against PNG. Along with ODI captain Sandeep Lamichhane, Sompal Kami, Rohit Poudel, Arif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airy and Kushal Bhurtel are also playing in the T20 team.
Apart from this, Asif Sheikh, Karan KC, Avinash Bohra, Kushal Malla and Lokesh Bam are playing in the first selection in T20.
Adil Ansari, who was included in the T20 national team for the first time, was not included in the Nepal team on Monday.
