Kathmandu – Nepal has taken the fifth wicket of the UAE at TU Cricket Ground in the tri-nation ODI series in the ICC World Cup Cricket League-2.
Wasim scored a half-century in 43 balls for UAE, who won the toss and batted at the Trivi Cricket Ground. He was dismissed by Sandeep Lamichhane after scoring 63 runs off 48 balls. Until this news was prepared, UAE scored 98 runs in 16 overs with the loss of 2 wickets.
UAE, who lost 1 wicket while scoring 19 runs, shared a partnership of 79 runs for the second wicket by captain Muhammad Wasim and Vritya Arvind. Arvind is now at the crease scoring 21 runs.
This game of the last series of League-2 is considered decisive for Nepal. If they can beat UAE in today’s match, Nepal will directly qualify for the ODI World Cup Global Qualifier to be held in Zimbabwe in June/July.
