Kathmandu: Nepal will playing against Kuwait at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium on Saturday in their second game of the 2023 AFC Asia Cup qualifiers.
Nepal ware suffered a 2-0 defeat to Jordan with conceding two second-half goals. Kuwait also face Indonesia at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in their campaign opener on Wednesday.
They opened the scoring in the 40th minute of the game but Indonesia scored goals just before and after the break to secure a 2-1 win.
Nepal are in pursuit of their first qualification to the finals while Kuwait were barred from participating in the 2019 edition and will be looking to make it to the finals this time around.

Nepal’s National Men’s team completed a ten-day closed camp in Doha, Qatar, today. The team traveled to Doha on the 25th of May 2022.
Nepal played three international friendly matches with Timor Leste (2-2), Sri Lanka (1-1), and Oman (0-2) during the camp.
According to the mutual agreement of the three teams, all three matches were played in a closed stadium. The team is in a good mood, and no significant injuries have occurred.
The team will travel to Kuwait for the third round of Asia Cup qualifiers early morning tomorrow. Nepal will face Jordan, Kuwait, and Indonesia on the 8th, 11th, and 14th of June respectively.
