Nepal vs Oman: Friendly match will be played in Doha, Qatar


Kathmandu: The Nepali national football team, which is currently undergoing closed training in Qatar to prepare for the SAAF Championship, is playing a friendly match against Oman today.

The match between Nepal and Oman will be played at the Qatar University ground in Doha, Qatar. The game will start at 7 pm local time (9:45 pm Nepali time).

Nepal is going to play with Oman to prepare for the clean championship to be held in Maldives. The Nepali team will leave Qatar for Maldives on Monday.

Nepal had earlier played two friendly matches against India at home.

The 13th edition of the SAAF Championship will be held in Maldives from October 1 to 16 (September 15 to 30).

Nepal will play against Maldives on the first day. This time only 5 teams are participating in the fair. After the single round robin league, the final match between the top two teams will be played on October 16.
