Kathmandu – The Nepali national women’s football team has left for two friendly matches with Bangladesh today.
The 31-member Nepali team has left for Bangladesh today for two friendly matches to be held on June 28 and 31. Nepal has taken this friendly match as a preparation for the Asian Games to be held in Hongzhou, China.
The goalkeepers of the participating Nepali women’s football team are Angela Tumbapo Subba, Anjana Rana Magar and Usha Nath. Similarly, defenders include Amrita Jaisi, Geeta Rana, Hirakumari Bhujel, Pooja Rana, Vimala Vick, Nisha Thokar, Samishka Ghimire and Anjali Vaiwa.
Renuka Nagarkoti, Saru Limbu, Vimala Chaudhary, Anita Basnet, Priti Rai and Deepa Shahi are in the midfield while Savitra Bhandari, Anita KC, Savita Rana Magar, Rashmikumari Ghising, Amisha Karki and Rekha Paudel are in the forwards.
The head coach is Anantaraj Thapa and the assistant coach is Paras Chaudhary and the goalkeeper coach is Suraj Kumar Lama.
