Nepal’s team announced for the Emerging Cup under the captaincy of Rohit

Kathmandu – The 16-member Nepali team under the captaincy of Rohit Paudel has been announced for the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup Cricket.

The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has announced the team led by Paudel yesterday for the Emerging Cup, which will start next week in Sri Lanka.

Young players from Dev Khanal to spinner Surya Tamang have made a comeback in Nepal’s team. Gyanendra Malla and Karan KC have been rested. Nepali cricket team’s spinner Sandeep Lamichhane and all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airi will not play the Emerging Teams Asia Cup.

Sandeep and Dipendra have joined the Franchise League Global T-20 Canada starting from July 20. As both of them will go to Canada to participate in the league, they will not play in the Emerging Cup.

The ‘A’ team and three other teams are participating in the competition. This competition will be held from 13 July to 23 July.

Group B of the Emerging Cup consists of Nepal, UAE, Pakistan A and India A. Similarly, in Group ‘A’ there are Sri Lanka ‘A’, Bangladesh ‘A’, Afghanistan ‘A’ and Oman. Nepal will play against Pakistan on July 14, India on July 17 and UAE on July 19.
