Kathmandu – The Netherlands reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup after defeating South Africa. The Netherlands defeated South Africa 2-0 in the match at the Allianz Stadium in Australia today.

Jill Ruud and Linth Bienstain of the Netherlands scored the goals. The next match to be held today will be between Sweden and America at 3:30 pm Nepali time.

Sweden is the winner of Group ‘G’ and America is the runner-up of Group ‘E’. Also, America is the winning team of the previous two editions of the Women’s World Cup. This competition organized jointly by New Zealand and Australia will last until August 20th.
