Four district presidents have filed a petition demanding action against ANFA president Sherpa


The presidents of four district football associations have submitted a petition to the Prime Minister and the Sports Minister demanding action against All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) president Karmachhiring Sherpa.

In a video interview given to an online media by ANFA President Sherpa, the presidents of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and Dhading District Football Associations demanded action saying that he had made statements against the laws of Nepal, International Football Federation (FIFA), Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and ANFA.

Four district football associations have lodged a complaint with the Ministry of Youth and Sports demanding action against ANFA president Sherpa. The petition has also been conveyed to the National Sports Council.

These four district football associations have been protesting against the ANFA leadership even before this. Lalitpur District Chairman Purushattam Thapa has taken temporary suspension for making negative remarks against the football association and officials in a Viber video chat on ANFA Day.
