KATHMANDU: Nepal’s ‘A’ Division Club New Road Team NRT has suffered a wide defeat in the second match of the Cup Football at Tuwan Yang Terut (TYT).

In the match played at Penang City Stadium, Malaysia, NRT lost 5-0 to Malaysian Super League Club Penang FC.

Penang added two goals in the first half and three more in the second half.

Lucas Silva scored four goals, including a hat-trick, in Penang’s victory. Saravan added a goal.

Earlier in the day, NRT had lost 5-1 to League Two Club Karo FC of Indonesia. After defeating Nepal, Penang has become the champion of TYT Cup.
