Kathmandu: Pakistan has taken a 3-2 lead in the 7-match T-20 series against England.

England lost by 6 runs in the fifth match in Lahore, Pakistan on Wednesday night. The home team Pakistan, who batted first in the match, scored 145 runs before being bowled out in 19 overs. Mohammad Rizwan scored 63 runs for Pakistan while England’s Mark Wood took 3 wickets.

In response, chasing a moderate challenge of 146 runs, England managed to score only 139 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. England’s Moeen Ali scored an unbeaten 51 while Pakistan’s Haris Rauf took 2 wickets.

With the win, Pakistan has taken a 3-2 lead in the series with 2 matches remaining.

The sixth and seventh games of the series will be held this Friday and Sunday at Lamore.
