Kathmandu – The Indian former cricketer Devika Palshikar has been appointed as the consultant coach of the Nepali National Women’s Cricket Team.
The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has appointed Devika as the consultant coach of the women’s cricket team in preparation for the ICC Women’s T-20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers.
She has worked as an assistant coach in India and Bangladesh and has been appointed as a consultant coach today, according to CAN.
Devika played the role of batting coach for the Mumbai Indians club in the last season’s Women’s Premier League.
Devika was India’s assistant coach from 2014 to 2016. She became the assistant coach of Bangladesh in 2018. The teams participating in the ICC Women’s T-20 World Cup Asia Qualifier to be held in Malaysia from August 31 to September 9 have been divided into two groups.
