Real Madrid have reportedly had a bid worth €215 million for top target Kylian Mbappe being accepted by Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, Real Madrid are inching closer to finally secure the services of Kylian Mbappe before the summer transfer window slams shut.
The Spanish giants have had an offer worth €215 million being accepted by Paris Saint-Germain, bringing them closer to signing their top target.
Mbappe has been nothing short of sensational since his breakout campaign in senior club football, back in the 2016/17 season with AS Monaco.
Over the last four seasons, following his move to PSG in the summer of 2017, the Frenchman has only gone from strength to strength, while also having won the 2018 FIFA World Cup with France.
To date, Mbappe has amassed an excellent record of 135 goals and 63 assists in 175 appearances for the Ligue 1 heavyweights.
However, his future at Parc des Princes is highly uncertain, seeing as he has entered the final year of his deal with PSG, with Real Madrid hot on his trails.
Despite Al Khelafi’s insistence that Real Madrid were far from PSG’ valuation, a deal was completed.
Real Madrid felt confident throughout negotiations given that the player wanted only to join Real Madrid and there was only one year remaining on his contract.
Florentino Pérez has made it clear to Mbappe that he will become the club’s “franchise” player; Mbappe will become the reference.
This was a big reason behind the player’s choice to opt for Madrid over the PSG sporting project.
