Women’s World Cup: Spain reached the final by defeating Sweden 2-1

Kathmandu – Spain has reached the finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup after defeating Sweden Today.

Spain came close to the title by defeating Sweden 2-1 at the Eden Park ground in Auckland, New Zealand.

Aingono gave Spain the lead by scoring in the 81st minute of the game. Sweden’s Rebecca scored a goal in the 88th minute to tie the game 1-1. But within a minute, Spain’s Carmona scored and took the team to the finals.

Sweden defeated Japan and Spain defeated the Netherlands in the quarterfinals. Spain will play the winner between Australia and England in Sydney tomorrow for the title. Australia is the host team of this World Cup.

32 teams participated in the Women’s World Cup which started on July 20th. The final match will be held on August 20.
