Kathmandu: The Nepali national cricket team left for Canada today to play two one-day cricket series against Canada.
Cricket Association of Nepal (NCA) officials and National Sports Council member secretary Tankalal Ghising bade farewell.
At the farewell function, Captain Sandeep Lamichhane said that the visit would be useful for League Tuka as the environment in Canada is similar to that of Scotland.
He said he would go to Scotland to strengthen the team in Canada. “If you do well in all the games in Scotland, you will have the opportunity to go up in the League Two,” he said.
CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand said that League Two is a challenge in Scotland and wished the players well.
