The Nepali women’s football team droppes in the FIFA rankings

Kathmandu: The Nepali women’s football team has dropped one place in the FIFA rankings. According to the ranking released by FIFA.

The world football’s highest organization on Friday, Nepal has fallen to the 102nd place. Earlier, Nepal was ranked 101st.

In South Asia, Nepal ranks second after India. India has also dropped two places in the new ranking and reached the 58th position.

Similarly, Bangladesh is 147th, Sri Lanka 153rd, Maldives 156th and Bhutan 176th.

The Nepalese team is preparing for the sixth edition of the SAFF Women’s Championship to be held in Nepal after a month. Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan are in the group in the championship to be held at Dasharath Rangshal.

July is a very busy month for women’s football, and the United States remains at the top. Germany, who became the runner-up in the Women’s Euro, improved three places and rose to the second place, while Sweden fell to the third place.

Similarly, England, who won the Women’s Euro for the first time, has risen to the fourth place, while France has fallen to the fifth place.
