Kathmandu: The UEFA Euro 2024 final tournament draw took place on Saturday 2 December. The draw ceremony was started at 18:00 CET. EURO 2024 draw. Which will be held next year in Germany, has been announced.
According to the draw held last night, former winners Italy and Spain have been placed in the same group. Croatia and Albania are in Group B along with Italy and Spain.
Italy won the Euro 2020 final by defeating England in a penalty shootout. A total of 24 teams will compete in the Eurocup and they are divided into 6 groups.
Host Germany is in Group A. Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland are also in this group. Similarly, in group ‘C’ there are Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia and England.
France, Netherlands and Austria are in group ‘D’. The other team of this group will be decided after the playoff game. The winner of Playoff ‘A’ will be in this group.
Similarly, Belgium, Romania and Slovakia are in group ‘E’, while the winner of playoff ‘B’ will be in this group.
Similarly, Turkey, Portugal and Czech Republic are in group ‘F’, while the winner of playoff ‘C’ will be in this group.
Poland, Wales, Finland and Estonia are in playoff ‘A’, Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine and Iceland are in playoff group ‘B’ and Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan and Luxembourg are in playoff ‘C’.
Only the winners of all three groups will advance to the Euro Cup.
The opening match of Eurocup 2024 will be between home team Germany and Scotland. The match will be played on June 14 at the Allianz Arena in Munich. The final match will be held on July 14 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
