UEFA Nations League: Belgium beat Poland 6-1 in the second leg

Kathmandu: Belgium have won their first match of the UEFA Nations League. Belgium beat Poland 6-1 in the second leg on Wednesday night.

Belgium had lost 4-1 to Netherlands in the previous match. But against Poland, Belgium came back from a goal down and scored.

Robert Lewandowski scored in the 28th minute to give Poland the lead but it didn’t last long. Axel Witsel equalized for Belgium in the 42nd minute.

Belgium scored five goals in the second half. Leandro Trosard, who entered the field in the second half, scored in the 73rd and 80th minutes.

Kevin de Bruyne scored in 59th, Leander Dendonker in 83rd and Lois Openda in injury time.

After the first victory, Belgium has risen to the second position by adding 3 points from 2 games while the defeated Poland has only 3 points.

The Netherlands, who have won both games, are top of the group with six points. Wales, who have not won a game, are bottom of the group.
