Women’s Cricket: Nepal Playing the third T20 International cricket with Qatar today

Kathmandu: The Nepali national women’s cricket team is playing its final and third T20 International cricket match against Qatar today.

The game will be played at the West End Park Stadium in Doha at 4:15 p.m. Nepal will be planning to sweep the series today. Nepal has already won the three-match series. Nepal had defeated Asti Qatar by 119 runs in the first match and by 61 runs yesterday.

Nepal is playing a three-match T20 series against Qatar in preparation for the Asian selection for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. The World Cup qualifiers will be held in Dubai from 6 to 12 December. After today’s match, Nepali team will go directly to UAE to play T20 World Cup qualifiers.

In the first match of the selection, Nepal will play against Hong Kong on the 6th, Bhutan on the 7th, Oman on the 9th, Malaysia on the 10th and UAE on the 11th. For the T20 World Cup to be held in South Africa in 2023, six countries including Nepal are going to play Asia selection in UAE for global selection. The group winning team will get to play the global selection.
