Zimbabwe enter Super 12 after beating Scotland

Kathmandu – Zimbabwe has entered Super 12 in ICC T-20 World Cup cricket. Zimbabwe entered the Super 12 by defeating Scotland in the match held today on Friday.

The target of 133 runs given by Scotland was met by Zimbabwe before the ninth ball after losing five wickets.

His captain Craig Irvine scored 58 runs and Sikandar Raja scored 40 runs. On the bowling side, Scotland’s Jaesh Dave took two wickets.

Earlier, Scotland, who won the toss and batted in Hebart, scored 132 runs for the loss of six wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.

His George Munsey scored 54 runs. On the bowling side, Tendai Chatra and Richard Ngaravara of Zimbabwe took two wickets each.

With this, all the four teams that will reach the Super 12 have been decided. Zimbabwe has entered the Super 12 as the winner of Group ‘B’.

In today’s first match, Ireland will reach the Super 12 by becoming the runner-up from this group.

Similarly, from group ‘A’, Sri Lanka became the winner and Netherlands became the runner-up and reached the Super 12. Super 12 matches will start from early Saturday.
