Manchester City Wins Big Against Borussia Dortmund 4-1 in Champions League

Kathmandu – Manchester City played a very good game and won 4-1 against Borussia Dortmund in their UEFA Champions League match.

Phil Foden was the star of the show, scoring two goals for his team. The match was a great display of attacking football from the home side.

The match started with City attacking from the beginning. They put a lot of pressure on the Dortmund defence. In the 22nd minute, Phil Foden scored the first goal of the match. Tijjani Reijnders gave the pass for the goal. This gave Manchester City an early 1-0 lead.

Just a few minutes later, in the 29th minute, Erling Haaland scored another goal. The pass for this goal came from Jeremy Doku. With two quick goals, City made it clear that they were in control of the game. So at halftime, Manchester City was leading 2-0.

After the break, Manchester City continued to play well. In the 57th minute, Phil Foden scored his second goal of the match. Again, Tijjani Reijnders gave the assist. Now the score was 3-0, and it looked very difficult for Borussia Dortmund to make a comeback.

However, Borussia Dortmund tried to fight back. In the 72nd minute, they scored one goal. Waldemar Anton was the scorer, and Julian Ryerson gave the assist for the goal. This made the score 3-1 and gave Dortmund some hope.

But Manchester City was too strong. To finish the game, Rayan Cherki scored one more goal for City in the extra time (90’+1 minute). This made the final score 4-1.

It was a great night for Manchester City and their fans. They showed why they are one of the best teams in Europe. For Dortmund, it was a difficult match, and they will have to play better in their next game.
